STORY & SOUND night ft. Mo & Kush Band
Cliché, maar waar; muziek is dé universele taal die ons met elkaar verbindt. Tijdens de STORY & SOUND night luisteren we naar muziek die inspireert tot het delen van verhalen. Als hoofdact treedt Mo & Kush Band op (in kleinere bezetting). Dansen gegarandeerd! De avond wordt afgesloten met de opzwepende tunes van DJ Arjan.
Mo & Kush Band
Mo & Kush Band is een band met musici van Sudanese en Nederlandse herkomst. Hun muziek vindt haar wortels in Sudan, maar laat zich ook inspireren door genres uit de andere tradities van Afrika, zoals afropop, afrobeats, reggae en saharablues. De stevige groove maakt hun optredens altijd tot een feest, met uitbundig dansend publiek.

STORY & SOUND night ft. Mo & Kush Band
It may be a cliché, but it’s true: music is the universal language that connects us all. During the STORY & SOUND night, we’ll listen to music that inspires the sharing of stories. The main act of the night is Mo & Kush Band (small band version). The evening will conclude with the uplifting tunes of DJ Arjan.
Mo & Kush Band
From the land of the Blue and White Nile, the cradle of Africa’s oldest civilization – the Kingdom of Kush – arose the Nubian legend Mo Ahmed. Born into a musical family and raised in the rich heritage of Sudanese music, Mo’s songs blend traditional Sudanese percussion with Afro-pop and Afrobeat rhythms. His songs praise the beauty of his country, but also the struggles and resilience of the Sudanese people under oppressive rule
